CD player not working

when i go to play a cd it says there are no cd's even though there is one in there and when i go to eject the holder it just makes sounds.
wut do i do?

same thinmg happened in my 98 when I bought it, I just had to get a new changer because I'm sure you heard and if not will be told many time's you can't get a in dash adaptor for a CD player. I bought a used disk changer from Ford Proformance Specialist but you could get one on e-bay or the JY I'm sure.

take the changer out, take the casing off, get the cartridge out, blow some compressed air in there, reassemble, re-install, enjoy.

Mine did that twice, both times I was able to just take it out, clean it out and reinstall it and it works fine.

Blowing it out didni't work for me guess I'm one of the unlucky ones!

thats probally me i never have good luck with anything. tonight was my first real night driving my car and the cd player broke and my door ajar sensor

Take the case off and clean the rollers that grab the CD. I use a little rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.

ok well i lied
somthing auctally went good for me for once, well twice
i went to go back the car in my garage to take the cd player apart and the cd think came out like it should and the door ajar light came on. so now i have a cd player and interior lights

i called these guys:
United Radio

and ordered this:
CD Changer-FMS #F6DF-18C849-AF $125

i sent in my old one and they gave me a new/refurbished one.
just like new!
