CD Player dead

I've not heard of that one before, and did a search and couldn't find anything.
You may want to check the connections in the back...make sure nothing has come loose?
Just a thought...

The capacitors apparently go bad in the first gen shos w/green display, apparently there is no fix for them if you wait too long. The capacitors leak onto the circuit board and ruin it. If you can get it to the shop before it leaks, they can fix them and replace the capacitors, but if it is too late, you need a new cd player, sony does not make thoes boards anymore i guess. I have a post under the. SHO generaation I & II performance upgrades - Electronis & audio. It's posted "CD player". good luck. Sorry, i liked mine too.
