CCRM help

I have a 92 Taurus sho MTX it has a code for a ccrm constant control relay module. Does anyone know if this houses the relay for the fuel pump? Thank you

Oh what issues am I not having lol. Car is 28 years old and cranky lol. It’s having a hard time starting and it is throwing a ccrm check engine code. I just wanted to see if it controlled the fuel pump so I can try and replace that before I drop a fuel tank.

If you need to replace the CCRM you have to get the model with the same letter on the top of the module.

If you hear the fuel pump prime the rails when the ignition is turned on, it's working fine.
Let us know all the codes you got. Note that code 542 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Failure can be caused by simply stalling the car at a light.

A '92 MTX would require an 'M' code CCRM.

Thank you for the help. I got one from the part store and the fuel pump continues to stay on when vehicle is sitting. Only turns off when you turn to run

you have an oxygen sensor code and a MAF code. Use some MAF cleaner to clean it. Clear your codes and see if any new ones pop up again.

I agree. the MAF error will easily cause an oxygen sensor code. Even if cleaning the filament does not cure it, it still could be faulty. I would look for a good used oem one. Is the car running rough or are you just chasing the check engine light right now?

You could try unplugging the MAF and seeing if that makes a difference for the time being.
