I am thinking very seriously about purchasing a 91 sho plus, but it is missing its catilatic converter... Is this a costly item to replace, and will it require a mechanic or can I install the part using a step by step instructions. Any ideas on how much one of these would cost? It's an ATX.

-Thanks

you can buy a high flow y-pipe with new catalytic ocnverters for around $450. bolting in is pretty simple, hardest partmon the ATX's is getting the rear O2 sensor out. if you dont mind driving, i will swap if for you, i am in San Luis Obispo, or you can pay gas and i will drive down south.
