I have a 2013, this car has been amazing! I’m now being told both catalytic converters need replaced. The mechanic is saying I will regret it if I use aftermarket converters. He wants to charge $5200 to replace the converters. Is it just me or is that INSANE??

I have a set of factory/OEM cats, on the factory/OEM DP's..... less than 2k miles on them as that was one of the 1st things I did wayyyyyy back when, was to go catless.
Not sure shipping them would be ideal. Least not by traditional shipping methods.
Set of wideband O2's still on them also.

I would get oem and I would also see what bpd1151 oems would cost with shipping. I am seeing both cats in stock on online ford parts sellers. They look like 750-850 ish each. They look to bolt in so I would probably look into doing one or both myself. SAve yourself 3500 if you can. If not someone can install them later. Aftermarket cats amount of catylist are terrible and have high failure rates.
