SHOs before HOs
i recently bought a 93 red MTX with a blown motor, 93superSHO, swapped the blown engine in for a 110k motor for me.
From what i understand the car has an aftermarket cd player and system and it was stolen, im kinda broke from getting the car so i just wanted to swap the cassette deck and cd player deck (seperate) from my 94 ATX, pulled them out, brought them to the MTX and plugged in the cassette player.
I just plugged in the cassette/radio deck because this car didnt have the bottom slot for the cd player, just a little compartment thing. I plugged the tape player in, all the original plugs were there, non cut, they all slid right in, turned it on, no sound, pulled the compartment thing out and found another plug so i plugged in my cd player wtih the tape player, and then i got sound, but only when its plugged into the cd player too. The problem is, theres no plugs left and the cd player is missing 1.
You cannot turn on the cd player, i was even fine with this, as long as i had something to listen too, i turned up the tape player and at maximum volume its so faint you wouldnt hear it if you cracked your window. What the ****?
i understand they're probably not compatible, but is there anyway to just keep the tape player for now and be able to hear it? sorry for the long thread, i just wanted to explain it as best i could. Thank you in advance for anything who takes the time to read it and replay
