Ok so for all of you who have been paying attention to my posts please feel free to throw any ideas or critisism my way.

The car is on the road. Tranny is in all the other goodies are in, seems to be running ok. I do however have a few questions of concern. I notice on start up that the motor jerks and clunks pretty hard im not quite sure what it is, although i did notice while i did the job that the rear motor mount looked pretty shot, i was short on cash and time when i was doing the work. Another concern of mine is that I see transmision fluid leaking from the driver side axel. The thing that concerns me about that is that I saw and felt the axel seal to the transmision but now that I drove it for a day it seems as if it has pulled itself loose. I have not driven it hard at all, actually more like a gramma. Is the axel shot? Another concern of mine is that it is leaking some coolant from the right front, I dont think its the hose as I cant see any visible cracks but what do you think I should do to take proper action.

NOW the last is that the motor oil light comes on once and a while as I slow to a stop or if I let out of the gas at cruising speeds, it has stalled on me once or twice. Is this something serious or should I just take it for what it is.? thanks for all your help

did you damage the seal while putting the axel in? like did you scrape the end of the axel on it perhaps? the seals are quite easily damaged... but pretty cheap to replace and can be done in the car... yeah do your rodbearings... RCM is a great place to buy parts

Your car's stalling because you need to clean out your IAB valve...that nifty lil thing on the intake behind your throttle body. Either clean that thoroughly or replace it, and your car will stop stalling when you take your foot off the gas.

Ok... bad news. I was driving the car last night and just to clarify to everyone the rod bearing were already done about 3k miles ago. I unfortunately was driving the car last night, motor running perfect and the tranny was shifting fine, when all of a sudden the clutch disengauged and the car would not go back into gear. The car is currently sitting on the side of Rt 15 in CT. I have no F*****G clue why the clutch would suddenly come loose and now the tranny wont go into gear. PRESSURE PLATE? TOB? what can be the problem?

All I know is that IM done. Im not a quiter but sometimes you need to know when to let go. I want to sell the car as a whole if possible but am willing to part it out. I have the tranny with less then 90k on it with new seals and TOB. I also Have the motor which has 175k on it but it runs awsome. The engine and interior is the only reason I tried to salvage the car. I am DONE though. If anybody locally wants to look at it you are more then welcome. IT has thousands in new parts and too many hours to count. The interior of the car is Mint except for the normal tears in the driver seat. All other seats are MINT. Black on Black leather. It comes with every factory option they had for 91. I am the second owner. The man i bought it from was a 65yr old doctor who couldnt keep up with the maintanance.
