As the title says, I went to start the car after work today and there was a long crank, followed by a rough start and roughly idling for maybe 2 seconds then dying out. I did that a few times, let it rest and tried it again and it wouldn't even start up, just cranks until it times out.

Any ideas what's going on? Probably will need to get it towed to the dealer unfortunately. I did see there was a fuel control module recall for the 2013 year which sounds sort of like my issue. It acts like it's not getting enough fuel. The one time I did get it started and was able to give it some gas it stayed running until it went back to idle then immediately died.

Pull any codes?
Mine was doing that when I had a bad (or 2) injectors. I was getting a p00c6 "low rail pressure while cranking" because the bad injector was bleeding the rail off. Hopefully yours is simpler than that.

Sounds like a fuel pump issue, check your fuses and relays, and keep it on a battery charger if you are going to continuously crank it, that will **** your batt in no time

Well, I left the car sit overnight when I first posted and it started back up in the morning. No codes. Worked fine since then until today I made a short 10 mile drive, went inside and came back out, did the same thing. Here are the codes I'm getting now:

P0087
P0627
U0420

I pushed the car into a driveway so I tgi K U0420 is related to that. But it definitely looks like I got a fuel pump problem. Waiting for a tow.

Strange that it works fine then just dies then works fine. Maybe that's the nature of these things going out. I thought I read about a recall for the fuel pump control module for my year (2013) I wonder if that's what's going on. Guess I'll get it towed.

The module is in the trunk and takes about 5 minutes to change. Mine was covered by the recall. I also have a 2013, BTW. Exact same symptoms.

Yep, that was it. Covered by the recall. They also did the door handle recall too. Glad that's all it was.
