Has was told to me, try cleaning the MAF. I did that and noticed a lot of gunk build up on my positive battery post so I cleaned that off also. It hasn't stalled on me since. When it was stalling it would only do it when I was slowing down form any speed under any driving consitions.

When I had my first coil go I had this problem a couple of times. It would stall when coming up to a stop sign or light. It would fire up right away. One time it didn't want to start but it did after a couple of minutes of rest.

Soon after the miss at idle became more apparent. Changed the coil and it never happened again although I've had more bad coils.

Sounds like they need to do a load balance test to figure out which coil is weak.

I have noticed a slight "miss" every once in a while when I am sitting idle, but it is not very often, I guess that most wouldn't even notice it, does this sound like a coil? I guess that it could be just about anything at this point because it doesn't happen all the time.

Yup. Definitely a coil. It will most likely take a long time for the computer to figure out where the problem is and throw a coil.

Sometimes it's easier just to change them all because they seem to go one right after the other. Save yourself a headache and multiple bills by doing at least the rear four at the same time. Fronts are easy enough to change.

Get your coils from NAPA. They've got the same coils as the dealers and they're cheaper. Should be around $75 if you get the shop rate.

If it is stalling it may be the IAC valve. Does it sometimes have good engine braking while at highway sppeds?

SHOZ's solution is definitely worth looking into. The IAC can get clogged and stall your car. All you need to do is pull it off (Silver cylinder by the throttle body on my Taurus) and spray some carb. cleaner through it. Very easy, and that's all you need to do. If it still stalls, the part is about $50-70 new. Usually when IAC's start to go bad, your car makes a slight howling noise almost like a ghost.

The alternator wire does not have a fuse link. There is a 175A mega fuse on the engine compartment fuse box though.
