I just changed the spark plugs (Motorcraft)and wires (Motorcraft). The car starts but has a slight missfire/backfire and seems to be a little off on the timming. It has about 50% power. I removed the intake to change the plugs. I cleand the intake,IAB, and T/B with intake cleaner. Befor changing the plugs the car was running poor at low RPM's, but above 3500 the car would smooth out and run good. Any help?

Check the vacuum hoses and electrical wires on the back of the intake. Make sure everything is hooked up right. Do you hear a hissing noise from around the intake?

Even me. The Chilton manual is wrong. I learned this one about 9 years ago.
