I think you have a fuel problem, earlier in the thread you said the fp sounded wrong. ...if tapping fuel keeps it from dying, then maybe fuel pressure at idle isn't up the spec. I always say this, but FUEL FILTER.....

Yeah but i think the noise was just the fuel retyrning after it dyi g otherwise no issues and only does it after 20mins siting hours its fine cew minutes its fine
. and i have an ignition related code pop up.

I will do fuel filter tomorow as a maintenance tho. This. Car has had meticulous maintenance. Including the full 60k at 135000kms timing belt crank sensor water pump upper intake. Valves checked plus wires etc. And also supplied me with the old parts as proof as well a receipts.

If oil is seeping into cam sensor,that could also give u symptoms as described. Have a bit of an issue like that myself. Have you removed cam sensor to check for oil when you have this issue?

So i swap out the icm for a supposedly good used one. And also new cam sensor. There was no oil in the old one . it was nice and dry. And car seemed fine. Then today it did it again. So car starts up does the typical. 1300 rpm start kinda sputters a second then idles.down and dies. Try again.. Just as it fires abit grab the gas and keep it at 1500 for a second or 2 and its. Good.... Never a single issie while runing. Or on cold starts...

let me make sure I understand what is going on:

you go to start the car and it starts, runs for a second or two revving up to around 1300, then sputters and dies. if you manage to give it a little gas when it is starting to sputter, it will keep running and be fine.

is that it? if so, I would swap out the iac.

So when yoi start the car lole normal theres a spike in rpm and then drops to normal. Idle as do any. Cars.. But in this case as it idles down to normal idle it sputters then dies. But if i grab the gas pedal its good to go.

Well my iac is the same on my 94 gl.parts car and it runs flawlessly lol so il swap it over and go from there.
