Does your radio, and lights (interior and exterior) work? If they don't you know it's battery related.
What exactly do you mean "nothing else works"? No lights, no door chime, no nothing?
i meant engine related.
i turn the key on the ignition everything electrical works, ( i.e. lights, radio dome lights) the engine is dead though. that is the best way i can explain it. sorry.
Toolman said:What EXACTLY happens when you turn the key to START? If you clutch interlock is bad, the car will make a single click, that is all. No crank, no starter, nothing. Just as if you were trying to start the car with the clutch pedal not depressed. If that is the case, just add a jumper in the switch and the car should start. I have had these go out for no apparent reason whatsoever. One day it worked, next day it did not. Jumpered the switch and it is fine.
When i turn the key to start nothing happens at all, just like you saying, same as if the clutch pedal was not depressed.

I tried to jump start the car but it didn't work since the battery is almost brand new anyways.
I don't think i get the concept of jumper in the switch, i am confusing it with jump start the car??
