So Im trying to replace the radio harness that the previous cut off.

I have found seven out of eight wires that are used for the harness. The one I can find is the Radio-on wire its Orange and light blue. Can I wire the radio-on wire coming from the radio to another wire? Is there another spot I can look for this wire?

Are you talking about the ignition on wire? Or the wire that is suppose to turn on power antenna?

If its an ignition wire you could always run a new one from the main harness just making sure you use a fuse.

If its a confusion from the turn on OUTPUT from the radio. The harness prolly has on it both a "rem' and an "ant" output, but your radio only has the one.

Click --> WIRING DIAGRAM
Go to page 3 and the first harness on the left. Harness # c280 shows eight wires coming out of the harness. I have a spair harness with all eight wires but I cant find the wire called RADIO"ON" its Orange/light blue coming from the car.

You can run another wire from the fuse box to your harness (look in the owners manual to find which fuse runs the radio anyway and tap into that one).

You found all the other wires but this one? Maybe try looking a bit harder? It just seems odd to me that you can find the other 7 and not this one...I would think if someone cut the harness they wouldnt chop off one wire and hide it. :shrug:

The radio on wire gets power when you put the key in (this is how the radio turns on and off when you start and shut off the car). The positive wire has power all the time (for keeping memory, time, etc.)

If you use the positive wire, your radio wont ever shut off. You need a power wire that comes on and shuts off with the ignition.

Is there another wire I can splice this wire to? What if I ran this wire to a constant hot hire and up a troggle switch on it. Any other suggestions ?

You can run a toggle switch but I honestly wouldnt recommend it personally. The main reason is that in doing so if you happen to be in a hurry and such you may possibly forget to turn the toggle off and leaving it on resulting in a dead battery. Though it would work. In doing a fully live wire though be sure as said above to place a fuse in to avoid having other problems and feedback coming in messing things up more.

Another thing is hit up a JY and you could possibly find a harness there.
