Hey, thank you ShoMen, ..And...being honest, I kinda wanna tear the thing down as a training learning exercise, maybe after I do that, I'll feel braver about working on my running SHOs and doing things like cam seals and such by myself..Nothing like actually doing the work to teach you and then feel more confident...Like now, I''m getting pretty good at flaring brake lines and undoing rusted fittings and such from the past two years...it's crappy work in a way, but when you try things and it works, it just feels great. In the old days, I just did my own points and plugs and starters etc...I helped rebuild a Boss 302 mustang engine with a guy and another 327 chevelle...oh and I ruined my fathers econoline van engine a couple years before that,,...but hey...it was good learning...at least I thought so..
I gotta try front and/or rear coil/strut replacement soon on a couple of the girls, or pay someone, cause they're in varying stages of pretty far gone...
Oh and...so it can sit on the oil pan full weight?/ I'd never do that with a traditional oil pan..
