Like a tweecer? Why does it need that? Or does the shift points need to be changed?

The car won't shift right w/o it. It needs to know it has different gears or it wont be happy.

You'll want to talk with Paul Nimz (shoz123) or Alex (Somedude001) IIRC, both of them have done it, Alex may have just talked about it, but Nimz has done it.

and that guy up in northeast pa, is it rayjay? he's a big atx buff too IIRC.

mine shifted just fine after the swap but my torque converter no longer locks as a result of the change, and the changes made to correct the gear ratios in the tweecer did not resolve the problem. It did make a noticeable improvement in power delivery and in knocked .2 off my 1/4 mile time.

I didn't notice any power drop in midrange with the triflow cams. I can't speak for the low end power since I have a ATX.

SCT tuning will fix it.
