Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a 1996 SHO with 154k on the clock. The previous owner had paperwork showing that the cams had been welded by a local mechanic. Tonight I decided to pull the front valve cover off to inspect myself and noticed that one of the spots I've noticed is typically welded in the photos online is not. I am attaching images of the cams hoping that someone with some experience might be able to chime in.

Thank you for the help!!

Thank you for the replies! I feel better now knowing that it should be fine! (Time to pull the RH valve cover to confirm the weld, change rear spark plugs/coils and do some cleaning now!)

I owned a Silver Frost 98 SHO 10 years ago and wish I never sold it! When I came across this Silver Frost 96 SHO locally i couldn't pass it up. Got a great deal on it. Body is a little rough...few dents and a hole in the rear bumper, however interior is pristine and car seems to be mechanically sound!
