Cam seal quesion

I just changed my cam sela and the cam turned oover when i was tightening the bolts so i put a crow bar and turned it back...when i did i chipped a part of the black seal on the rear timing cover..will this affect anything or should i be alright...just want to make sure before i put it all back together

I think you'll be fine.

FYI, I use a strap wrench to turn the cams.

Please use a strap wrench on the pulley next time. There is nothing good that can happen from using a crow bar on the car pulley.
