A short length (3 to 4 inches) of 2" PVC pipe from home depot/ lowes/ etc makes a damn good substitute.

Your alternative is to buy a Rotunda toolkit for the 3.0L SHO V6, around $250 on eBay.

Your call.

I used a 1 and a half in diameter by 3 inch long pvc . Worked great.

Thanks!

I am ordering ford seals and don't want to trash them. I saw the pheonix project way of doing it and did a few searches.

I just installed a set of Ford cam seals this weekend without the tool. A little oil on the cam snout and they slip right on.

Years ago I had one that didn't go on right at first, but I was able to get it right without damaging the seal. IMO, your money is better spent elsewhere.
