How do i check the timing on my cam's? I think my belt skipped. what is the easyest way to do this.

1. Disconnect DIS.
2. Pull crossover tube.
3. Pull upper timing cover.
4. Line up harmonic balancer with 0 degrees on the lower timing cover.
5. Make sure cylinder #1 is TDC.
6. Look where your cam gear markings are positioned to the timing marks.

If you are off timing you should replace the timing belt, water pump, crank sensor while you have it ripped apart

Follow the instructions here: MTX or ATX

Cylinder #1 (Passenger side rear) should be at top dead center (TDC).
Both cam gears have markings on a tooth that should line up with the markings on the cover behind them.
The crank should be lined up with the mark on the oil pump.

I suggest that if you don't know the difference between a manual transmission and an automatic transmission, you sell the SHO and buy a Civic.

Maybe he is new to the SHO scene... You must have known everything about SHOs before you bought yours, right?
