Caliper brackets

When purchasing caliper brackets for the '96 upgrade, do you have to get a set for a '96 SHO, or will the slo brackets work?
I had a friend give me a set of caliper brackets that came off of a '96 Taurus but I don't think the car they came from was a SHO.
