Buyers Beware - Quick Reference

In this thread you can post up information regarding sellers that receive money and do not deliver what they promise. It will be stickied so it won't fall out of view.

DO include with your post:

The first & last (if you wish) name of the buyer.
Date you paid and how you paid. (Paypal/money order/etc.)
Their forum name if you know it.
How much you lost and what items you paid for.

DO NOT post phone numbers, street addresses (City/State is OK) or copy/paste email conversations. I'm not sure what the law says about posting actual email address so for now leave those out until I can verify what's legal and what's not legal.

Discussions regarding this seller should be carried out in a separate thread in this section, not this sticky thread. This thread is intended to be a quick reference for other buyers on the forum.

If your dispute is resolved reasonably by the seller directly let me know and I will edit your post as being resolved by the seller. I will not remove your post as it should serve as a reference for history.

If your dispute is resolved by Paypal, etc. also let me know and I will edit your post accordingly. It doesn't really help things, but it will let others that you've at least gotten all or part of your money back.

Rebuttal posts by the seller should be carried out in this section but not this thread. Remember, you as a seller can also post feedback regarding your experience with buyers.

If someone posts about a bad experience with you as a seller, you should post a rebuttal with a link to the post in this thread or quote what they say in this thread in your own thread. Be sure to tag your post as a rebuttal.

I know I owe a guy money, I sold him a part, whent to get it and a junkman took them thinking it was scrap metal.. by that time I had already spent his money as times were tight

I don't have any contact information for this guy or have never seen him since. All I think I know is his name is Lou I believe, if anyone knows of him or he reads this, please contact me so I can send him money, I'm sure he could use some extra cash and me make the situation right

Hi, something similar to what happened to 38sho happened to me; I own 2 forum members money it was like a year ago and I have been in a really bad situation but want to get straight with them.
The whole thing escalated to everybody thinking I was lying but at the end almost everybody got their merchandise even after I have refunded their money minus those two forum members. (I lost money too because there was 2 of them that never send the money for what they got)
I will try to fix things with them. I'll keep you posted.

Beware of this seller.
Sent US Postal Money Order for $42.00 to purchase a blend door actuator on 12/04/2009. Seller claimed he never received money order.
*** went unanswered in 2010, I posted a "Tdoughboy37, where are you" in this forum in Feb of this year. No reply.
Paid for a trace on the money order after 60 days (Cost $5.00, what a rip).
Got reply back today (March 12, 2010)..... money order cashed on Jan 5, 2010 with signature of seller on back panel.
The seller did not think I would pay $5. to chace $42. but he doesn't know me.
Some more advice... the US postal money order system is great for fraudsters, 60 days to begin a tracking exercise that you have to pay for.... worst system in the world, never again.

Head Bolts - They Look Used

I bought two boxes of head bolts that were listed as being sealed. When I got them, the top of the boxes were still factory sealed, but the bottoms had been re-stapeled. All of the bolts had slightly rounded heads.

I guess he could have bought them in that condition, your guess is as good as mine.
