A couple months ago I posted an ad saying I needed a couple head bolts. Area91 asked for my address and in about a week I got a box with 8 head bolts, some good valve cover grommets, and a couple cool pics of the green bastard.

I'm sorry, to get into this thread with my 5 cents, but since when saying "i'll do what I say.." and doing the way i want, is fine? I don't think Area91 is right, however that was nice of him to respond now.
On the other hand BAM614 is also wrong. YOu kinda started too ******* Area91 as if he was the baddast guy in the world. You know, you could try with posting that you're looking for him first.
I just know how to be on both sides in this situatiation and I don't think any lame excuses of somebody else other than Area91 or comparison to NESHO should matter.

I wasn't making a comparison.

havent talked to the guy in a long time but he was never i repeat never the type of guy to rip anyone off... hes been ripped off more times then i care to mention but he still went over the top to help anyone..

when he fixed customer cars he would spend extra time to make sure everything is right and also put his own parts into fixing them not asking for anything extra for the labor..

hes a straight shooter and is not out to get anyone. **** hes even got great manors.


next time dont be a ***** about it if someone dont respond to you right away we got lives and they dont revolve around you

I have done business with Brian on several occasions and would continue to do so. As it has been said, he is probably one of the few on here who has been around for a while and would give you the shirt off his back.

It always pays to be tactful when approaching another SHOForum member, we take care of each other. A bad attitude is sure to get you nothing but a bunch of flaming, bad reputation, and no help/parts when you need it. Kindness goes a lot farther than, impatience.

I sent money to this guy via Paypal for a 4rib WP/PS tensioner pulley for my 95 mtx last week.

I have PMed him a couple times since then without a response and can see he's been online as recent as yesterday....

I had no choice but to open a dispute through paypal to get a refund of my money as he is not communicating and I have not received a pulley from him.

Just wanted everyone to know....I thought I was in the clear seeing as he'd been a member for years, but I should have known from his signature and his visitor messages not to bother.

Brian, while I have never dealt with you via business I did meet you at Nashua two years ago. For the record BAM614, while there are a lot of scammers out in the world, and it's good to be skeptical, Brian is definitely not one of those people.

You wonder why we got up in your business about this post, pretend someone just came up to you and started bad mouthing your group of friends, what are you going to do?

A lot us on here have met eachother in person, which I can't say is true for a lot of other forums I'm on. The people on this forum will go out of their way for eachother. It really is a community, and I'm sorry you got chewed out, but if you come into the den and insult a cub the rest of the pack is going to be on your case.

I did receive it Saturday. Much appreciated and I'm hopeful it's quiet installed.

Apologies if I jumped the gun, but I would recommend better communication in the future, IMO.
