Button on shifter **** almost impossible to press in when cold

I've noticed that my car's shifter **** button is getting harder and harder to push in when the car is very cold, such as 5 degrees or colder. Anyone have this problem? Anything I can do about it? The other morning I started my car and it took me a good 3 minutes to finally push the button in so I could shift out of park.

Spray some WD 40 on it.

that or wipe it down with a warm cloth, you probably got something sticky in the when whiping it down, like that stuff that makes your car shine...
easy fix..
