butterflies sticking

I recently noticed my front set of butterflies don't open correctly at 4k. when the car is off, the butterflies are isn the fully open position, as soon as vacuum is applied to the system, they close, like their supposed to. but if i rev the motor to 4k+, the rear ones open fully, but the front ones open less than half way. i the removed the intake and claeaned and did some mild porting and removed the horns and tried to grease/wd40 them up, but they're difficult to move still. maybe its time to get some BBB!!

Just a thought, but it may be a vacum problem,

But to be honest I'v been away from my SHO for two years now.

i thought so too, but they're hard to move when their unbolted from the car too.

is the rod bent?

That was my guess, the shaft or plates are bent.

i dont think so and i didnt see anything making them stick but that doesnt mean that it wasnt
