Burnt SHO!

well, ill never get to feel what its like to have a shift kit on my 99 sho. The car unfortunately didnt make it out of the garage. Due to a self-exploding F-150, the sho and 27 other cars were damaged while the transmission shop cought fire and collapsed. i have pictures that i will post as soon as i get them back. :cuss:

I've heard about those self-exploding F-150s. Someone posted a pic of one in mid-conflagration here not too long ago. As I recall, it was in a driveway and caught the garage on fire. Scary stuff! Hopefully nobody was injured.

Come to think of it, my 99' is sitting in a tranny shop right now. Maybe they have spontaneous-combusting F-150s there too. I've wanted a new car!

Yeah, look on the bright side. This may be the only chance to get book value for your SHO. If you get a nice check, just come back and buy one off the forum where there's only SHOForum value

The F-150 detected a certain number of Dodge's (since they spend all the time getting tranny rebuilds) around it and self destructed like a suicide bomber - you're SHO took one for the cause!

sorry about your loss . I'll take the possibilty of a bad transmission in a Dodge over a exploding Ford anyday FWIW, my Dodge has been owned by myself and my father before me for the last 11 years or so, its never seen a shop for anything.
