So i ran into a little problem when putting my GC coilovers on. There were no bump stops on my stock system so bring over to my new coilovers. Anybody have any suggestions of where to get some new ones?

Is there any preferred material? Becuase from what i can tell so far, these bump stops might get quite a work out.

I have the coilovers on, and when i go over large potholes or bumps, i NEED the bumpstops. It is a very unsettling thunk to hear. I just want to make sure i get a good one that will last and not fall apart after a few thunks.

Sounds like you might need stiffer springs...what struts are you running? Koni?

I've got the Monroe Strut Mate kit. It comes with a plastic-like-rubbery-like bumpstop. This car has Konis and Intrax. Held up well so far, though still low mileage on them.

Here is a question i thought of. What are the odds of me having the wrong springs in the front? I have the smaller diameter ones installed up front. Is that right? Because they don't feel as stiff as i thought they were going to be.

Ya, i ended up ordering the bump stop and boot from rockauto. I went to an Oriely auto parts and they didnt have it. Well let me clarify, the guy said they didnt have it. I dont think he was looking up the right part.

Where would i go for longer springs, or information on what springs came with the GC kit?

You should not be hitting those bump stops!
It sounds like you have the springs switched front to back.
I know of at least one person who has done this, and damn near broke his tail bone hitting a nasty bump.
The Ground Control instructions are pretty crappy!
There was also a run of the Ground Control springs that weren't the correct length for the back.
Can you read the numbers on the spring? They will tell you the spring weights.

When i get home from work ill give it a look. But i certainly agree with you on the crappy instructions. They look like they were hand drawn then photo copied. I think next time i have a big project in mind i will buy the good stuff and not try and piece together cheaper parts.... In my defense, i did start collecting parts before SHO Source announced their coilover setup. haha.

I think i added the pics as attachments. The ones i have in the front have 2 different numbers. One is GC150.64.53 and the other is 151502. The ones i have not installed yet that are in the rear have numbers GC130.64.75 and 159122-1. Can anyone confirm that i have the correct springs in the front?
