I hit a shredded tire doing about 80 on I-94 yesterday and ended up with a bent/broken and leaking power steering fluid oil cooler. Managed to drive home OK but car was spraying PS fluid all over the place and this morning there's a huge puddle of the stuff on the garage floor and none in the PS reservior.

Dealer will have the oil cooler by noon tomorrow.

Has anyone changed this part on their car? I had unbolted it for access when I replaced my starter but am not sure of what type of clamps hold the hoses. Are these just spring type clamps?
Any advice/things to watch out for?

Thanks in advance.

Are the old clamps that hard to remove?
Sounds like good advice though. I'll be picking up the cooler this evening and will probably look at replacing it tonight.

You are best off to use new clamps anytime you remove the OEM ones.
