My first SHO was a black 1989. I bought it used in `91. I drove it for about a year and then sold it to a friend who drove it for a while and then let his mother drive it until she was not able to drive a stick shift anymore.
He put it in his garage sometime about 1994 still in a good running condition. He has never tried to start it since an attempt a few years ago which was unsuccessful because the battery wouldn't take a jump.
The other day he offered me the car. Just come and get it he says.
After not running for who knows how long, how much work do you think it will take to get it to run? It is still in great shape body and interior. Last I knew it had about 65,000 miles on it. Never had a 60K tune up.
Since my current SHO is a `95 ATX there isn't much I can use off this car. I may just part it out.
