Break Door Actuator Compatability?

I've got a 95 SHO with the BDA on the fritz. Only Heat and no AC, the constant *thump thump thump* of it trying to close or open. Im wondering if the BDA from any 91-95 Taurus will work with the system in this car, then I can just go get one from the boneyard.

Any takers?

You will have better luck looking for a Blend Door Actuator.
They are common Taurus and Sable parts.

Has to be a Taurus/Sable with automatic climate control.

The failure rate of the factory Taurus/Sable BDA is extremely high.

If you go through the hassle of pulling the dash on your SHO, then you really ought to install a new BDA.

Duly noted, i meant blend door but i was a zombie the other day. Thanks for the input, i've got a new one coming from the stealership. Im not looking forward to going under there though.
