I have a 2 month old radiator, and I was very surprised to notice that after warming it up at woirk the other day "It leaked anti freeze". I looked under the car and there was a good sized puddle under the radiator. When I checked the radiator out it seems that it was wet with anti freeze, about 6 inches down from the radiator cap "straight down on that side". It didn';t look wet anywhere else. Is there an overflow valve that may have let some out or something? I'm puzzled here!!

Yeah sounds like the overflow valve on the radiator fill neck. There's a small piece of tubing that rus from the top of the fill neck to the overflow bottle. I noticed on mine that the rubber tubing expanded at the radiator neck and was slowly allowing coolant to come seeping out instead of flowing to the overflow bottle. Fixed mine with a small zip tie to tighten where the rubber tubing sits on the radiator neck. Check this spot for leakage.

SB,

How old is your radiator cap? You can have the cap pressure tested. The spring loses its tension with age and use. As stated above the overflow hose becomes loose as it ages and loses its elasticity.

Lastly, the nut and bolt that holds the fan shroud to the radiator can crack the tank if it is overtightened. rangerj
