Bought my 99 last December with 112K. It now has 118K and the right rear brake pads are totally gone, while all others are 75% there. Anybody know if the Gen III cars have the same problems with brake hoses as the Gen I & II's. I am wondering if I should order both rear lines, caliper assemblies and pads. Maybe the Gen III's have some other wierd problem? Getting rear brakes to function consistently on my previous 92 was a part time job...

The pins are usually the problem. Though at 120k I would be changing the brake hoses.

Yep, I had the caliper brackets with stuck slide pins, somehow on three out of four brackets.

The rear brackets are available at a parts store. I had to order new Ford brackets for the front.

This car's brakes I found we're quite easy.
