I replaced the rear rotors and pads, then I pumped the brakes until everything seemed normal...the brake feel was much better than before (pads were completely worn out!)...However, I have found many times the brakes immediately engage when I press my foot to the pedal, but many other times I must press the pedal quite a bit before the brakes engage...feeling a little sloppy.

Does anyone know what this is?

Sorry for the late reply, GreenBird...it's totally random and I don't like that fact. I wish I could resolve this issue, not that I am totally concerned...the car stops much better than before, especially because it's not grinding anymore!
