Brake light pattern for a 93?

Ive been told that my 2 inner brake lights arent working... they illuminte normally when I turn on the lights, but I still get no brake illumination from them, ever... Could it be that the wires were cut or they are missing, or is it that this is the way 93's are?

it was the same on my 95 when i got it. i also thought it was the wiring too. turns out the bulbs in there only had one filament, so they only lit up when the parking lights were on. i put in new brake light bulbs in there and they all lit up when the brake was applied.

just doesn't seem right without the whole thing lit up.

hahaha i was thinking the same looking at my cars reflection while backing up close to a window the other day! it is wierd that both sides look the same, maybe both sides inner bulbs were replaced with the wrong bulb (single filement) at some time

Yeah, both bulbs must have been replaced at the same time. Ive been driving this car for close to 2 years and I hadnt noticed this until somebody pointed it out last week

It doesnt look bad or anything, but I like it better with all 4 lighting up...
