I have a 93 ATX that is my toy. I have a 94 that I picked up for parts. I broke a CV shaft on my 93, got on it too hard with the wheel cranked, it didn't like it. I was going to swap the two out. I discovered that the 94 has a different, bigger brake system. Can I put the 94 setup on the 93?

then, from there you can get even bigger rotors by putting on 96+ brakes (expensive way) or 2001+ Taurus Brakes (cheap way)

both are 11.6" and the 94/95 is 10.9

of course you can go even bigger... but as far as stock brake systems thats pretty good

Can the 96-99 knuckles be used in place of the 94/95 knuckles? I'll be upgrading the black 93 soon and want the newest components. It's all the same price at the junk yard, so newer ~99 knuckles are what I imagine I'll want.

No, the front suspension changed in 96 and the ball joint moved from the control arm to the knuckle. So the knuckles are not interchangeable between GenI/II and GenIII.

Best bet is get some 94-95 knuckles with ABS, then do the 96 rotor upgrade. FWIW, if you're heading to the junkyard, just get the brake brackets and larger rotors from a GenIII, they'll work (just measure the rotor so that you're not getting the same 10.6" SLO rotor).

yup with that you would officially have the 96+ brake upgrade. Passing from 10.? inches to 11.6 inches rotors.
