Front drivers bleeder will not budge. Got all the others to work with a lot of pain (1990).
Any solutions on removing the bleeder after the wrench hex is gone. I pounded on an undersized socket and heated the casting but the bleeder would not budge and the socket just rounded off the hex. Is there a trick to getting this thing off... other than replacing the caliper.
Luckily, there is no problem with the brake system and there is no air in the line, but eventually I will have to solve this.

Many times after the hex is rounded off, there is no other choice but to use vice grips. I use a product called "Freeze off" made by a company called CRC at work that usually works more effectively than the torch (because you don't have to worry about damaging rubber components).

After you finally get the bleeder out, you can usually find a new bleeder in the 'help' section of your local auto parts store. Remember to put a rubber cap on the bleeder when all is said and done. More often than not, the ones with these rubber caps come loose, when the ones without a cap do not.

Good luck!

I would just replace the calipers in the front atleast if there that old. Then my experience has been shiity with calipers that old they pretty much strt to drag or stic after a few heat cycles. I do know they sell those bleeder repair kits like a bleeder screw gets screwed inside your stock one.
