I am mixing at e15...right out of the pump so to speak so it isn't old. I'm wondering if we are still on winter gas here. Honestly I'm not overly concerned about the part throttle knock as it's 4 degrees or less typically. It's just affecting my LOR which is irritating. :)

I was wondering about winter gas here, too. I have no idea when the changeover takes place.

Maybe ask the gas station manager  ? I wish they had cheap & accurate (yes I want it all!) ethanol level testers you could use to regularly test pump gas ...

The manager of my BP station can barely discern gasoline from motor oil. I left a message for the guy who owns the station that sells 102. I am also curious of the ethanol percentage in e85. It could be as low as 51% and there is no telling how long it has been in the storage tanks. With regular so cheap, hardly anyone buys e85 in my area.

it always used to be that the switchover to summer gas happened mid-April in the northern states and mid-October to winter gas, but it has to do with more than the calendar because they usually completely shut down a refinery for some maintenance while they are doing the switch, and that has to be scheduled with supply/demand needs so the time is not set in stone.

Prices have gone up 30-40 cents/gallon in my area in the last 3 weeks. Still not complaining about $2.10 top tier gas :)
