I'd like to know what the current investment and projected budget is for this build. I usually allow 2500 per year plus any overtime worked for my mods.

For rereadability might want to stay on topic. We got platform history being made and seems like the jokes have gotten pretty excessive. All respect for BPD. He's pioneering the platform with all these new insights and I think we are starting to take away from that.

It's all good Jordan, Mike and I do this all the time.

For fear of having to live on your front porch, or any other SHO owner's porches for that matter, I would never ever total it.

Call it "Plausible Deniability".

Can't be accused of being dishonest if one doesn't truly know the answer to this very question presented.

I'd never admit to being the smartest person on the block. However, in the same token, I'd be remiss not acknowledging I've learned a thing or two over the years.

Appreciate that J, but Brian's right.

We do this to each other quite regularly. Sometimes it spills over into/onto the forum(s). Which is fine. Allows everyone else to enjoy in the nonsense.

Akin to a battered wife's syndrome. We just keep coming back for more.

My only advocating of staying on topic is when it relates to members discussing actual stuff related to the platform (i.e. mods, maintenance stuff, etc.).

But this banter/jocularity is a-ok in my book.

Makes the thread a little more lively, and breaks up the monotony of the continued passage of time as this project keeps inch worming along.

Oh man, idk about BPD, but I NEVER look at the total cost...it'll probably scare the shit out of me. To this day, I've never tallied up the cost I incurred on my custom Harley build...I'll probably want to cry, and nobody wants to see that...

Yeah when I think about what I've spent on my 2013, makes me cringe, but would do it again.

07/14/2020.......

Recieved a few updates from the engine builder, as well as couple of pics to ogle at.

I have details on things that have been completed, but am tactfully choosing to withhold for the time being, as I know I have a couple of competitor's lying in wait.

Suffice to say, I have a few other secret squirrelly things going on in the background, that has even the engine builder fairly excited.

To quote him accurately.... "It is going to be one wild motor" -----Matt P. (owner of Max Power Automotive).

Just a teaser of an update for all y'all.

Hope everyone's well and that this update finds everyone safe and managing all the Country's crisis's. 2c6490e06e115aea71ef4dc2763e3fa19def8199aa592d9708437d02ff1a5729Df7ab3b03f97872ead951f2b9b8eb800

The closed deck looks really nice. Can't want to see her run.
