Last I heard, it was moved to the rack and they were "working on it."

I've asked them to do their best to get it done in time for this year's National SHO Convention in Indy.

I guess time will tell.

We can organize a bunch of us to stand outside of their front door with picket signs until your car is done.

I think he sold it four years ago and this has all just been an elaborate ruse.

Prove me wrong, Mike.
Haha..... this made me laugh.

Hasn't been sold and is truly on the builder's (brand new and very spiffy) rack and more importantly, work continuing as previously stated.

Not a pretty pic. But a pic of its current status nonetheless.

Myth dispelled. Cheers! 4a5927a09089df26d747b93538b31a3b

Cool that he painted the support bars to match your car. Bet he doesn't do that for every customer.

Keen eye. I didn't notice that until you pointed that detail out.

Most impressive there!

Just a quick update.....

Went and visited the shop yesterday (07/21/2023) and was glad to see that the motor and transmission are at least back in the engine bay.

Still a LOT left to accomplish, but progress is progress.

Builder said there's a bunch of little things that are missing like brackets, bolts and what not. Which was to be expected given the now deceased former mechanic who removed the engine, developed into an alcoholic and drank himself to death (God rest his soul).

So he's got all the miscellaneous stuff on order from Ford to replace the missing items.

But the builder appears relieved it's just little stuff.

It was nice to see the look of enthusiasm return to the builder's face, replacing what was once a look of genuine worry/concern etc. given all the unknowns previously.

Maybe from here on out, things will go smoother/quicker.

Hope everyone's well.

Well, progress is progress. Large or small. Good to know you're still enthusiastic for the platform. Looking really nice. Hope you get to fire her up soon.

The time I had my valve covers powder coated these seals were not offered by them selves. I ended up having to buy a new valve cover to harvest those seals... May want to research this before it turns in to another set back.
