2 Quick questions

1. For a 3.2 swap does a 3.0 lower gasket kit work? Example is the one from RCM

64.99- SHO 3.0L lower gasket set-
Includes:
Front Crankshaft Seal Set-
1- front crankshaft seal
1- oil pump-to-block gasket
1- oil pump cover gasket
1- oil pump pickup tube gasket
Rear Main Seal Set-
1- rear main crankshaft seal
1- rear main seal carrier gasket
Oil Pan Seal Set-
1- front oil pan seal
1- rear oil pan seal
RTV silicone sealant (for pan rails)
Oil Drain Plug Gasket

2. Can I reuse main bearing thrust washers? Clevite doesn't sell them and they seem to be very hard to find. But Hi-Tech bearings do. Any experiance with Hi-Tech bearings?

Any information you have would be cool. Thanks.

Think of it this way... Other than 3.2L headgaskets, everything else is stock 3.0L.

Don't worry about the thrust bearings unless you have endplay.

Alright that's what I thought about the gasket set.

thrust washers

I see this is a very old thread....... I was wondering if any of you had any more information on Hi - TECH bearings? It's possible i may need new thrust washers and at the moment am unable to find any, also i need to check the crank for end play, so like i said, .....i may need them. any help or info will trully be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rudy.
