I've always ran Amsoil ATF and stifts great. I was told by Doug to use that. He said Redline is over rated. He doesnt carry royal purple, so that tells you about that.

ive heard redline actually makes it worse... moreso when michelle linked to gear **** :nut:

Yep. Like I was sayin I trust Doug and he said to run Amsoil. Thats what he also had in his 89 and he said after going through every brand of ATF he said Amsoil is the ticket :thumb:

RedLine is junk. Dont bother putting it in.. The royal purple fluid was okay. But i got a few quarts of AMsoil to put in when i put my car back together.

Logan, your car is pretty clean for a gen 1.

thanks, but it wouldn't be where it is if it weren't for a previous car owner ;)
it's going to get re-done, whether i do it myself or take it to maaco... it's getting a good sand down near those rust bubbles, the hood's getting either touch-up or sanded, and the dents are gettin' popped out...
i'm hoping i'll have money to do that all before the meet
but this like entire next paycheck goes toward registration for the kalamazoo stuff =)
