I just purchased my second sho. 2013 non pp. with 400 miles on it I already have a livernois tune and cold air intake. id like to put a boost gauge in the car shomehow but im still exploring options, which I have come up with none. anyone have one installed on their car? I know its really not needed but im an old school ford guy and all the older fords that were forced induction had them. turbo coupe, super coupe, lightning, mustang cobra all have gauges...

There are a few people who installed gauge pods in place of their center dash speaker. Its a very clean setup. But they were also highly modded. Can't you measure boost with your tuner?

I have the gauge pod because i'm old school too. It looks great in the car and is functional.
Recently people have been going with tablets and the torque app.

I don't have the sunroof so that wouldn't work for me, plus they seem a little too far back.
I love the 20 inch BBS rims and drop of the H&Rs though.

Here's a peek at my set up......

Custom 3 bank gauge pod from fellow member crash712us, custom hand made and wrapped 2 bank A-Pillar gauge pod, and then the 3 extra gauges on the MyCal device.

Center stack has EGT/Pyrometer's on the outside for both bank's 1 and 2, center gauge is Tranny temp gauge.....

A-Pillar has the Oil temp gauge, and then the Boost gauge......

MyCal device is monitoring Battery level, Intake air temps, and then Engine Coolant Temps......

BPD1151... that takes driving with distractions to new a level.....

You might cause our local senator to petition the Gov't for new law against that many gauges.....

I have been in BPD's cockpit... All I can say about riding with him is....

"BEAM ME UP.... SCOTTY!!!!"... "Warp speed approaching".....

OMG!!!!!!!

Thank you Bob :thankyou:

Riding in your modified G8 was equally as impressive & rewarding I'll add :hail:

Crooked @ss Politicians in my home State have their hands full enough with their own distractions, yet alone worrying about a car owner having too many gauges.....

Although my cockpit is beginning to resemble some other well known cockpit's I would say.....

Where can you buy the Ford Racing gauge pod?

Not sure which pod you are referring to.....

However, Ford Racing is a licensed product that is sold to Autometer.

The Official Series of Ford Racing Gauges is/are available through Autometer, and each gauge is on average $250 a piece.

The 3 bank Center Pod is custom made, hand built, and is available through fellow member Crash712Us. Shoot him a PM.

Not sure what his current pricing is for his pods alone.

The A-Pillar Pod that I had made is essentially a "One-Off" made pod.....

Ran me, with being wrapped in the OEM upholstery, just a tick over $500 for that A-Pillar alone.

But to replicate my set up, NOT including the MyCal tuning device affixed to the windshield, would roughly be in the $2,000 range.

**EDIT**

I should've stipulated that the above quoted $2K, is/was for PARTS ONLY.

I did assist with the install of all of my gauges, but still had some residual labor cost(s) involved as I did pay my mechanic buddy some labor involved pricing. But I know he under charged me severely.

Wow - those are some expensive pods! I did like the one mounted over the center NAV unit.
