To start with, my '93 had shot struts and the springs didn't look too good either. My car is from Minnesota and has seen winters, this caused some problem with the install. Total time was about 12 hours to do this swap. I had air, torches, spring compressor, and every other tool needed and I definitely used them all. Had a few PITA bolts here and there but overall it wasn't too bad. If I had to do it again I bet they could be done in about half the time. To those of you from the south where rusted/frozen bolts aren't common, you're lucky.

I replaced the stock stuff with Bondurant struts and Intrax springs and have been very happy with them so far. Only put about 20 miles on them but on highway cloverleaf turns this thing raelly hugs the road. Harder turns in town are still fun but my tires are pretty worn out. The ride is firm, but not all that bad, actually I find it to be more comforatble that what was replaced since it doesn't pogostick anymore going over bumps.

Alignment is perfect as well. Before it was a bit off but now it drives straight as an arrow. I am not running any camber/caster plates or anything else, just bolted them in.

I have never riden in another SHO with Konis, Tokicos, etc so I have nothing to compare my car to except for itself when stock. OVerall, money well spent.

I just got mine installed yesterday and i love it. The car is on rails it fells like. Except for my bad wheel bearing and lower ball joint on the passenger side. Time to get an alignment after i fix those two things. Intrax are $210 from summit and i heard that i got the last new set of bondurant struts so i can't tell you how much they would cost.

personally I wonder how long the struts will last.

The KYB's are said to last less than 10K.

I hope these do much better.

I paid $330 for the Bondurant struts , and $229 for the springs, both shipped to the door. Struts were bought from a guy here on the forum, forget his name at the moment, springs came from Summitt.

I have no idea how long these struts will last, but until then I'll be having alot of fun in my "new" SHO.

I don't understand why I heard so many comments about the Intrax being too low, screwing up axle geometry, being hard to align, etc. For whatever reason I have plenty of clearance to avoid bottoming out and the car drives perfectly straight. The car looks lower, but the wheels aren't all messed up with the improper camber, caster, toe, etc like so many POS lowered Civics have.
