Well the SHO isn't mines, its my friends. Since i have a gen 2 and don't know much about the SHO in the first place i figured i'd come to you guys for advice. I've been on/off this forum everyonce in a while and have gotten a lot of tips and helpful hints about my car. Well the car is a V8 SHO, automatic with about 80K on the engine. At first there was a misfire and I figured it was the plugs had gone bad. Well i changed all 8 out and was really careful with the individual coils making sure i didn't shake them, or move them more than i had to. The plugs looked like shit as well. But about 2 weeks later the problem came back, and now its bogging when you step on the gas hard, and the idle is just horrible. It isn't throwing any codes for some reason and the garage i took it to told me everything seemed fine... Another problem is the car also smell like rotten eggs from behind, but wasn't sure if that might help find the problem. Someone suggested oxygen sensors, but we're both on a short budget and don't want to do anything until we can square away what the problem might be.

Any suggestions to help find the problem, or if anyone is from the Boston, MA area who's willing to help take a look would be much appreciated, if you solve the problem and want to get your hands dirty (cause i'm in school and my friend has a back problem), he's willing to pay for the job as well.
Thanks a lot for reading all my ranting about his sho.

Bad coils would be my guess. When the plugs are changed and they have been there over 60-70k it's best to get new coils for the back and save the old ones to swap in the front when you pinpoint problems there.

I scored a new motorcraft one from ebay for 50 bucks... Also bought one from our local dealer for 80.

Autozone I heard is the cheapest now, but they only stock 1 in the store IIRC.
