Bluetooth Stopped Working - Anyone else have this happen?

Since I purchased my car I have had issues with the bluetooth not staying connected for whatever reason. IMy phone would connect to the car probably 70% of the time the first time, and other times it would only work after I restarted my phone or turned BT on the phone off/on.

Now however, every time I get in the car it tells me it is unable to pair to my device. I deleted SYNC from the setting on my phone, and attempted to re-pair it but the bluetooth is turned off on the vehicle. When I go to phone settings in SYNC and try and switch bluetooth on, it goes right back off. I have also attempted a Master Reset of the SYNC system without any luck.

Bluetooth module went out? Is my SYNC just ***** and I am out of luck?

Is it Sync2? If so, disconnect the battery for a half hour and fully reset everything. I found in my 2013, that the "master reset" didn't fix a couple of issues I had, but disconnecting the battery did.

I have an issue where music stops playing over BT. Usually this is shortly after starting the car in the morning and heading to work. But is says it still sees the phone. Just cannot hear the music.

I had this problem with some phones. Once I went to Android 8, no problems.
Seems to be the Bluetooth profile on some phones.... At least with my 2010 SHO.

Did you ever figure out why your Bluetooth didn't work with your SYNC system on your Taurus? I'm having the same issue. Just looking for answers before i buy a whole new unit.
