Little more info would help. But if your talking about the little blue photo sensor that is mounted to the small square panel in the top of the dash above the glove box. That would be the photo sensor for the automatic head lamps or the sun load sensor for the automatic climate control. Ones on the drivers side and ones on the passanger side. Mine have been relocated for years but I'm almost pos that the headlamp sensor is the one on the passenger side.

Airbag module is over there and about that size. Mine is a 94 ATX and the module is located just to the right of the glove box (your not getting right/left mixed up standing on your head to see it.

If it is the arbag module and its beeping you need to becareful. Does the Airbag light illuminate when you first turn on the key if not than your bulb is probably burned out, If it does than it should be flashing a diag code.

If the airbag bulb in the cluster is inoperative, the RCM beeps out a 55 code at power up and every 30 minutes thereafter to warn you that you have an SRS fault.

It's a backup warning indication.

Yep, that's the airbag firing and diagnoses module.

Depending on the severity of the fault, the module may have already blown it's internal fuse to disable the airbag system. I'm pretty sure you could search this forum, SHOTimes.com, or Google and find a list of fault codes for your system.

What's this internal fuse like? I've got a code 51 "Diagnostic Monitor Internal Thermal Fuse - Open Due to Intermittent Short to Ground "

It's one yu probably don't want to mess with unless you find the short. If you replace the fuse without finding and repairing the problem you will probably fire the airbag(s) when you replace the fuse.
