blend door still doesn't work

ok i replaced the part but it still gives me the 02 code which ****** me off i work for 7 hours and i turn it on and all i get is pure heat and a 02 error what is the problem any clues on what else it could be

Whar part did you replace? Was it new or used? On what basis did you decide to replace said part?

FODZ-19E616 is the part number that i order directly from ford because i got the code 02 on the a\c diagnostic i consulted the sho forum on the problem and that is what they told me needed to be replaced

If you had consulted the diagnostic procedure for the '02' error in the service manual, you would have been able to test the blend door actuator motor and the feedback sensor.

The control head is another possibility as are wiring and vacuum supply issues.

Hmm..

One person said "most likely"..

Not exactly "everyone"..

If you need the diagnostic procedure, I can provide you with one from the 89 service manual. It *may* be close enough to be of use. E-mail me and I will scan and send it.
