I am thinking of painting or powder coating my slicers black, but am undicided because I am not sure how it will look. Do you guys have any opinions on this matter? The car is Crimson red and if I do the wheels black, I will do the calipers red to match the car.

If you have a pic of your car I could photoshop something up for you to decide.

my opinion (only worth about $.02) is: there are only 2 things that look good in black on a sho: tires  and the body thumbs_u thumbs_u And yes, that does deserve 2 thumbs up.

The Picture I have is a really bad one right now. I have some film to use up and then develop. If you do mind I would love to take you up on your offer for photoshop. I am looking at black slicers but I have also thought of gun metal. The picture I do have is @ http://members.cardomain.com/yamahasho

Thanks
Jason

Here's some photoshop I did (was really, really bored) back when I was considering refinishing my slicers (got new wheels instead).

Medium gray: http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Sep/20029303968017116523272.jpg

Dark gray: http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Sep/20029302010350177195157.jpg

Black: http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Sep/20029301510486628640003.jpg

Here's what I finally decided to do: http://mediaservice.photoisland.com/auction/Sep/20029303233961562589417.jpg

These should give you some idea of what the SHO would look like with odd-colored slicers.

I like the black ones the most, they look nice on a red SHO. Maybe try painting the letters on the hub caps? Red?
