Big disappointment tonight !!!!

I took my 92 SHO out tonight for a test run after replacing the rod bearings , everything ran good until the car warmed up within a good mile or so then the slight knocking noise came back along with the flickering oil light but the noise only comes when giving the car throttle and its gets quiet again when you let it idle . what else could it be ??? I changed the bearings and thought that would execute the problem

yes every cap was torqued properly according to the instructions

What did the old bearings look like? Plastigauge the new ones?

?? Curious to know what happened here. I just finished my bearings, drove around for 10 miles and no issues so far. I haven't gotten above 3500 RPM yet and probably won't for a while though.

There is no need to "break in" rod bearings.

For your information, I drove it very respectably. For seven miles.
