Best way to get the headliner out

What is the best way to pull out the headliner?

Try fully reclining both front seats.

Remove all the trim that secures the edges of the liner to the roof (overhead console, sunroof, visors, courtesy lights etc). Remove any push-in retainers.

When the headliner is free, remove it via the left rear door.

You may find that you need to completely remove the driver's seat to get the liner out the door.

If you take a seat out, take the passenger seat out. There's no steering wheel in the way on that side.
