best solution for cooling fans?

only one of my 2 fans are working and that one is making a bad noise like the bearings are shot or something.what would you recomend to fix this problem?new fans or motors or after market fans with adjustable temp,or seperate switch fans?thanx .

1) make sure nothing is in the way of the fan.

2) with the car OFF and fan UNPLUGGED (or battery disconnected) spin the fan by hand and feel for any bearing play/see what is making noise.

3) if the bearing is shot then I would look into replacing the bearing/motor assembly and using the fan/shroud currently in the car. I have owned 5 SHO's to date and put on many, many, many miles without having any cooling fan problems. I would not waste time or money on an aftermarket cooling fan assembly.
